Randy Ligh began his private-practice of law in 1993. Randy concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense with an emphasis on workplace accidents, oil and gas accidents, deliberate intention claims, construction accidents, premises liability, toxic and chemical exposure, mesothelioma and asbestos injuries, defective prescription drugs and medical devices, motor vehicle accidents, employment discrimination, sexual harassment and child abuse/molestation.  Randy also practices law for small businesses to keep ahead of the new laws regarding regulating employment, contracts, taxes, financing, and business formation, and provides collection services. 

Randy Ligh also became a Special Assistant Parish Attorney under the litigation section for the East Baton Rouge Parish Attorney’s Office since 1994.  Randy’s primary practice includes civil litigation defense of the local governing body (City of Baton Rouge/East Baton Rouge Parish), including road hazard, automobile accident, strict liability, premises liability, and police claims.  Also handled subrogation of City/Parish property damage and workers claims against third parties.   Since 2008, Randy Ligh has been the Collection Division Director for the East Baton Rouge Parish Attorney's office.

Randy Ligh was raised and born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Randy received his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Randy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathmatics and English at Louisiana State University in 1990. Randy is admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana and Middle District Court of Louisiana (Federal).  Randy has been involved, as lead or secondary counsel, in at least 15 jury trials and 25 judge trials.  Randy Ligh is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and The Dean Henry George McMahon American Inn of Court.
